[link] Tattoos: A black orchid starting between his shoulder blades and coursing down his back. The vine and stem, which are littered with thorn detail, continues right down his left leg to his ankle and curls around.
Markings: Scars in the centre of his palms, he doesn’t like to talk about how he got them.
Personality: Temperamental and a little hot headed at times would like to be able to take a logical approach to situations and life but when provoked he is prone to rash action and outbursts. Can be, at times, a little over sensitive and as a result he can be easily offended and hurt. He is slow to trust but willing to give the benefit of the doubt in the most part, however once his trust has been broken it cannot be regained. Left to his own devices and when unprovoked he can seem a mellow person, neither a loner or a socialite he skirts the borders of most groups looking to jump in where it suits him.
History: Once a human he has memories of what he calls an “easy life”. He looks on his vampire abilities as blessings as well as curses, although in the most part he is content with his situation there are times when his mind drifts and he can begin to feel lonely. Even in his pre-vampire life he was an agreeable young man.
He was turned by a female vampire who took a liking to his “innocence”. She sought to make him her own however even after his “making” he fought against her and fled her clutches. It wasn’t long before he fell from his path and grew volatile and dangerous. He was for a while the target of a pair of Vampire and Demon Slayers but he was able to evade them long enough to fall into the care of a slightly more understanding slayer. This slayer preferred to call himself a Vampire Researcher rather than a slayer and helped Kaito to get his wits and control back. After this he moved on looking for a place he could call sanctuary. He found none although he searched worldwide for many years. And finally he comes to the Academy on the kindly advice of a mysterious stranger.
Abilities: Healing – This power uses a lot of his physical energy and involves taking on 50% of the injury/ damage himself. The bigger the injury the more energy it consumes. He prefers to not use this skill when possible as it involves a great potential risk to his own welfare.
Lightning – He is able to absorb electrical current from power sources and naturally occurring electrical forces such as static and lightning. When channelling enough of this energy he can throw shocks towards people and conduct through metal and across water’s surface. However when wet he can find it hard to control the voltage of his power and cannot always judge or control the direction.
His original human senses as well as speed, strength and agility are increased by 10%. He heals at a faster rate than would be considered normal, especially after feeding.
Strengths: His loyalty to those he trusts is second to none; he is an incredibly dependable person.
An intelligent guy when his feelings don’t get the better of him, he is useful in any situation when brains is needed.
Of all his abilities his speed is above the rest and with lightning quickness he finds it easy to evade attack and injury, but not always.
Weaknesses: Direct sunlight although not lethal is incredibly uncomfortable and can cause a fever and illness in long doses.
Although he refrains from feeding when possible there are times when the lust for blood can become overwhelming to the point where he loses control. If he can hold out long enough he can fight to regain his senses.
His unwillingness to trust and easily offended can mean he is isolated when he needs help as well as proving a flaw in everyday life.
Extra: As a talented and passionate musician his favourite pass time is sitting in a picturesque either listening to music or playing his own creations on guitar or piano.
